Rising in Bloom
A mixed-media series by Luna
Luna (Angela Luna) is a California mixed-media artist who creates paintings through layers of hand-painted papers, vintage imagery, collage, and acrylic. Rather than working from a predetermined plan, she builds each piece intuitively, adding, covering, repainting, and rediscovering until the composition gradually reveals itself.
Rising in Bloom is an ongoing series of original mixed media paintings exploring wonder, imagination, ancestry, nature, growth, and the beauty of becoming. Moving between whimsy and reflection, the works honor childhood dreams, the wisdom of our elders, the gifts of the natural world, and the courage to find and free our own voice. Together, the collection celebrates the magic, beauty, and possibility that can emerge as we grow into ourselves.
